Terms and conditions

1. The service

Reviewgent gives a business a QR code and a share link. A customer who scans it rates their visit, picks what they came in for, and is shown a draft review they can edit, copy and post to Google themselves. Ratings below the threshold you set are routed to a private feedback inbox in your dashboard instead.

2. Your account

You need an account to use the service. Keep your password to yourself, give us accurate business details, and tell us if you think someone else has access. You are responsible for what happens under your login.

3. Acceptable use

Reviews collected through Reviewgent must be genuine and posted by the customer. You agree not to:

Breaking any of these is grounds for us closing your account without a refund. Google, Apple and other review platforms have their own policies, and following them remains your responsibility.

4. Draft review text

Draft text is generated by AI from the rating and answers the customer gives in conversation with the agent. It is a suggestion, not a statement by us, and the customer is free to change it or write their own. You are responsible for the business information you supply that the drafts are built from.

5. Trial, fees and cancellation

New accounts include a 7 day free trial with no card required. After the trial the service costs $19 per location per month, billed in advance. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not pro-rate part months. Prices may change with at least 30 days notice by email.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the service running continuously but do not promise uninterrupted access. We may take it offline for maintenance, and we may change or remove features as the product develops.

7. No ranking guarantee

Search rankings are decided by Google and other platforms using signals we do not control, including distance and relevance. Nothing in the product or on our site is a promise of a particular position, rating or number of reviews.

8. Your data

How we handle personal information is set out in the privacy policy. In short: the business data and feedback in your account belong to you, and you can export or delete them.

9. Suspension and termination

You can close your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, does not pay, or is being used in a way that puts other users or us at risk. On closure we delete your account data within 30 days, except where we are required to keep records.

10. Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost reviews, reputational harm or indirect losses, and our total liability in any 12 month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will email the address on your account before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new version.
