Came into Northside Barber Co. for a hot towel shave and left happy. They took the time to get it exactly right. Worth mentioning: no wait and fair price. Easy to recommend.

Scan, answer two questions, and this is the screen that comes back

Three steps, then it runs itself

1. Paste your Google review linkWe read your public profile for your name, category and services. That is the whole setup, and it takes about two minutes.
2. Put the QR at the counterPrint the poster or stick the NFC tag by the card reader. The customer meets the agent while they are already standing there.
3. The agent captures the experienceA rating, a short conversation, a review it drafts from what they said. If they want to post it, Google opens with the text ready.
At the counter“Mind scanning this? It writes the review for you, takes twenty seconds.”Print the card, stand it by the card reader. That sentence is the entire staff training.

The three results people call are the three at the top

Whatever you do, people search for it with “near me” and Google answers with a map and three businesses. Which three depends on distance, relevance and prominence. Reviews are the part of prominence you control.

Illustrative. Rankings depend on distance and relevance too, and no one can promise a position.
The difference

Same shop, same month, one change

One location’s first 30 days with a QR card at the till, next to the month before it. Nothing else about the visit changed.

Asking by hand
7reviews that month
Staff forget to ask, or feel awkward asking
The customer means to do it later and never does
A blank review box is too much work in a car park
Bad visits go straight to your public profile
The few reviews you get say "good" and nothing local search can use
With the QR at the counter
100+reviews that month
The agent asks, so nobody on the team has to
They share while they are still at the counter, not later
A short conversation replaces the blank review box
Every experience is captured, including the bad ones
Reviews name what the customer actually mentioned, so the profile reads specific
vs
One shop’s own numbers. Yours depend on how much counter traffic you have and where the card sits.

What owners report

★★★★★

We went from 7 reviews a month to 38. The QR sits by the card reader and I just say one line.

The agent picked up a wait time problem in week one. Nobody on my team had to ask a single question.

Questions owners ask

Is this allowed by Google? You are asking for a review and helping with the wording. The customer reads it, edits it if they want, and posts it themselves. Never offer a reward for a review.
What if the customer had a bad visit? The agent listens the same way it does for a good one, and the experience is captured for you. The customer can still post publicly if they want to. We never gate or suppress reviews.
Do you need access to my Google Business Profile? No. You paste your public review link, we turn it into a QR code, and that is the whole connection. We never sign in to your profile, cannot change your listing, and cannot see or delete reviews.
Can anything happen to my Google account?Nothing we do touches it. Reviews are posted by customers from their own Google accounts, in their own words. Your listing, your existing reviews and your login stay exactly as they are, and cancelling Reviewgent changes nothing on Google.
Do my customers need an app?No. The QR opens a normal web page in their camera.
Can they write their own review instead?Yes, that option sits on every screen.
